About
Dear Cataldo Family,
Tuesday, November 26th is our annual Day of Giving. This is an immensely important day for our school–one in which we ask for our entire community to consider making a gift to Cataldo.
Cataldo is a special place for all of us. The lessons learned and the moments lived in this school impact a student and a family forever. Our community comes together in big and small ways, inside and outside the classroom to help shape our students into confident, compassionate and responsible human beings. I see how special our community is when we gather around the plaza to light our Cataldo Christmas tree at the beginning of the Advent season, or when a parent comes to volunteer in the classroom. Those moments only happen here. Those moments make Cataldo the special place that it is and the special place we want to continue into the future.
Gifts from our community allow us to continue to make Cataldo the rare place that it is. Tuition at Cataldo covers the expense of all the salaries and benefits of our faculty and staff. Everything else: our operational expenses, community events, textbooks, supplies, and all that helps complete the experience of a student and family at our school comes from the support of our fundraising, which is why the success of our Day of Giving is pivotal to the success of our school. Your support helps us complete the experience.
I believe in what Cataldo produces with all of my heart. Our students are well-rounded people who know themselves, seek to find their purpose, and live their faith in service to others. They practice our Core Values of faith, integrity, empathy, perseverance, and love each and every day. Education matters, and one that focuses on and prides itself on personal growth in all areas of what it takes to be a confident, well-rounded person is an investment in your child’s future.
Our education enriches lives. Your gift enriches our education.
Accompanying this letter, you will find a testimonial from a graduated family who has reflected upon their time at Cataldo and the impactful role our school has played in their life. Like them, we ask you to take a moment to think about all of the aspects of our school that make it special and please consider making a donation or pledge today to continue the legacy of excellence at Cataldo Catholic School.
With gratitude,
Zack Cunningham
Principal
